Benefits of attending a virtual event
As a result of the global pandemic we have decided to host this year's Women in Tech Festival as a virtual event. Whilst was not our original plan, we believe this has opened up greater opportunities for the event. There are so many ways a virtual event can be more beneficial than a physical event.
Here's a few reasons why:
More content, more speakers, more discussion
Now with 2 days of content we can take a deeper dive with more sessions, more speakers, and more discussion, resulting in more exploring and learning.
Greater access to speakers
In a physical event, there is often limited time for delegates to ask questions. At the Women in Tech Fest speakers will be able to respond to questions via the chat function after their presentation in their own time, ensuring delegates get all the answers they want.
At the Women in Tech Festival there will be dedicated networking areas where you can connect and chat live with other attendees. There will be different discussion 'rooms' running so you can join different discussions that are of interest to you. There are no time constraints like there would be at a physical event during networking breaks - the rooms will be open all day for discussion and networking.
No need to take full days out of the office or waste time travelling to the event. Plan your own personal agenda over the two days - pick and choose the sessions you want to tune in to getting the most out of the agenda and maximising your time.
Ticket holders will also gain access to all the event sessions and content for 30 days after the event! Invaluable content at your fingertips for a whole month.
With a virtual event there is no carbon footprint from attendees travelling to the venue or from the event itself.
